I'm Camila Rodriguez, a Colombian woman of 25 years old, and I've been a passionate photographer since 2014. In Colombia, it's very common to have a big celebration when you turn 15. My party was amazing, and my mom went above and beyond to make me happy. She is the most wonderful woman I know, always doing her best for me.

It was the first time I was able to buy a professional camera because the party guests gave me money. I drove my mom crazy because I really wanted to buy my camera, and we were living in a small city where it's really hard to buy technology. So, 5 days after the party, my brother, my mom, and I went to Bogota (the big city) to buy my camera. That was one of my favorite days; I was so excited. The camera was a Nikon D3200, and since then, I've always taken photos at family events, of plants, and everything else.

I would love to be a mom; I'm obsessed with babies. I love everything about them; I'm not joking. I admire how smart they are because they learn something new every day. They inspire people to do their best, they find ways to express all their needs, and they can make someone happy with a little smile. They give life meaning; their bodies change so quickly, time passes by so fast. So, whenever I'm with a baby, I really enjoy my time with them because it shows me that it's impossible to have the same day twice. I love photos because they help me relive the same moment again. When I was a teen, I took care of all my little cousins, and now I'm a nanny, and every time I care for a baby, I treat them as if they were my own. For me, being a mom is the most important job in the world; it's magical to have a life inside your body and feel the baby moving. I see pregnant mothers as the most powerful women. That's why I love taking maternity photoshoots; when I'm pregnant, I want to remember my big belly, and I would love to show my grown-up baby what they looked like when they were inside me.
